Back to the Best Country in the World

Every time I leave Canada, I realize how great it is. The older I get, the less I want to leave. There is nothing like winter camping in a 3rd world country for a month to make you realize that we have so many amazing places so close to home! So I arrived yesterday into a foggy, but warm Vancouver. I have lots of photos to share which I will post in the next few days… stay tuned. Be sure to check out the Winter in Nepal blog, as Cory and Ines just had great success on Kwandge! I am nursing frozen toes and happy to teach an ice climbing course this weekend in +8 degree Celcius weather!

Just before leaving basecamp for our week long journey back to North America… Chris and I went for a climb up a long gully. It was just a perfect warm outing for some light exercise!
